Morning weddings have such a different vibe. Children & the elderly are usually more awake & cooperative. The light hits familiar venues at completely different places. For those reasons I was excited to spend the morning with Christie & Nick at Tapestry House.
This little guy loved all the attention his wedding outfit attracted.
One way to get a group of men to sit at attention – install a video game.
Nick’s in foreground shadow as he sees Christie for the first time. A 300mm lens brings the two in perspective.
Here’s a twist – bride & groom wrote letters to each other, yet had others read them during the ceremony. Lots of laughs, and tears.
What a fun day in perfect September sun!

Congratulations (!) and a big thanks to Ruth at

I was left wondering just what exactly a fish cake tasted like.

Jello shots were a constant diversion throughout the day (and night!)
