Happy New Year! Estes Park played host to Kathleen & Nate’s long awaited holiday wedding. First, ceremony United Methodist Church, the a long & super fun reception at Crags Lodge.
It was a killer set Peneplain Jazz Project that got everyone in the right mode. Jerry & company are awesome!
How’s this for cool? Kathleen’s older daughter sang a Norah Jones’ number as she watched Mom’s first dance. Her voice and the band were perfect together.
Nate’s wedding ring had a wooden inset taken from a 100 year old tree that was struck by lighting on the family property. Very cool.
Crags Lodge first opened its doors on July 4th, 1914 and has been hosting Estes Park scenery seekers ever since. Maybe you’ll stay in the same room where poet Robert Frost laid his head.
