John met Angie at a work, a few months after she moved to Cheyenne and stopped dead in his tracks. There ceremony & reception at Cheyenne Botanic Gardens was a coming together of two families – Wyoming, meet Texas.
Angie and John’s Mom really had a great energy between them.
The overcast light that day felt for like England, not Wyoming. The 200mm f2 lens brings the rings in focus while the background goes to a dreamy green texture.
The reception greeting table had a frame print of my favorite image from their engagement session in February.
Cheyenne is proud of its Botanic Gardens, and it should be. Rare for a small city, the gardens began in 1977 as a solar greenhouse outside of town and moved to Lions Park almost 10 years later, becoming a part Cheyenne’s Parks & Recreation Department. The gardens, ceremony site, Sloan Lake views and nearby reception hall make it a top Wedding venue in Wyoming.
